What's New at Armor

We start client meetings by asking clients to update us on what is new in their lives. I wanted to use this space to provide some updates on ‘What’s New’ at Armor. 2021 has been an exciting time at Armor as we have come back to the office and have continued to work to enhance our services. We continue to grow to support our mission of “making a positive impact on the lives of our clients by providing objective advice, proactive financial planning and goal-based investment management.”

I am most excited to announce that Adam Morgan joined our team last month. Adam will collaborate with Jeff Miller on the development, design, and implementation of Armor’s investment strategy. This work entails combining macroeconomic research and global investment market analysis with rigorous due diligence on a range of investment securities to ensure that our clients are thoughtfully invested.

Adam comes to us with extensive experience in the financial services/wealth management industry. He received his undergraduate education from the University of Colorado, and obtained an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, as well as receiving his Chartered Financial Analyst® designation during that time.

Adam and his wife Van live in Apex with their three children who are rabid Caniacs and budding soccer stars.

I am also happy to report that Armor added another member to our extended work family in early July when Matt Miller married Kristen Hinson in a wonderful celebration. One of the great things about being part of an employee-owned boutique firm is the family environment that comes from a long-term shared commitment.

Lastly, Allison Miller, who has now been at Armor for nearly two years, recently achieved the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation. This professional certification demonstrates additional expertise on investment fiduciary guidelines with respect to retirement plans.

Jeff, Matt, Graham Shepherd and I, as the shareholders of the firm, are excited to add more firepower to the team. It complements and enhances the investment and legacy planning that we provide and helps us towards our goal of serving more clients across multiple generations.
