Last quarter Armor volunteered with the Green Chair Project in Raleigh. Their mission is to provide families and individuals in Wake County experiencing the challenges of homelessness, crisis, or disaster by providing furnishings and housing essentials. While at their facility, the Armor team assembled and organized furniture in the warehouse, as well as assisted with setting up the showroom.
This quarter we will be volunteering at the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County ReStore on Friday, September 19th. Habitat for Humanity aims to bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Habitat Wake has built more than 850 homes across Wake and Johnston counties since its founding in 1985. Habitat ReStores sell new and lightly used furniture, appliances, cabinets, home goods, and building materials. The proceeds from the ReStores help to support Habitat’s mission in our local community and around the world.
